I've been a fan of this site for several years but never signed up due to my lack of easy scanning ability. Now is the time, though, and I've created my account here and begun the process of uploading some work.
Most of what I will be sharing here, at first, will be digital, photographic, and smaller works that will fit in the scanner. I am just getting prepared to take some decent photos of my paintings, though, so soon I should have some of them to upload also. I work mostly in acrylic on canvas or board so I'll be excited to get some pics taken of my favorites and uploaded as time allows.

A little about me:

I've drawn and painted since I was a child but do other art, as well. I think my strong suit is as a writer but I also record and perform original music. My last traditional style rock and roll style band was The Luminaries. We recorded an e.p. in 2007 which is available for download from here:

My last published work was in the University of Virginia's literary journal and was called "A Life Without Fear". A sort of philosophical essay on the element of fear in human society and how it permeates our lives and is used to control our reality instead of as a primitive protection device, as intended. My most recent projects, though, are the release of a new album of experimental music with my collaborator, Ian Briscoe, under the name Subduction. I've created a blog for the project and we're working on putting together our stage show. The album can be downloaded here:

Other than that, I'm going to be working on getting some artwork up here and checking out other people's work. Seen some great stuff here over the years. It's an inspiring place to become a part of.
